Kathy Fisher

Kathleen Ann Fisher (born June 1, 1966 ) is an American singer from Los Angeles . Together with songwriter Ron Wasserman , with whom she is married, she forms the band Fisher . She is also known as the vocalist of several trance hits.

Kathy Fisher and Ron Wasserman formed the band Fisher in 1998. The MP3 music format was just about to become very popular, so Ron Wasserman released some songs on the music website MP3.com . Within a few weeks they reached 18,000 downloads per day. This brought them attention from Time Magazine and CNN and eventually a recording deal with Universal Music in late 1999. To date, the band has released a total of six albums. The music is in the rock and pop area. Several of Fisher's songs have been used in films and television series.

In 2005, Kathy Fisher started a collaboration with the trance duo Filo & Peri . Together they released the singles "Closer Now" and "Ordinary Moment" with her voice. Since then she has been a sought-after singer in the trance scene. Kathy has most recently worked with trance artists including The Thrillseekers , Moonbeam , Leon Bolier and Jon O'Bir .
