Electric Zoo Festival
The Electric Zoo is a three day music festival in the area of electronic dance music , which every year on Labor Day -Weekend in Randalls Iceland Park in New York takes place.

The Electric Zoo Festival was first held in 2009 and had over 26,000 visitors (around 15,000 on Saturday and 11,000 on Sunday). Armin van Buuren , Deadmau5 , David Guetta , Ferry Corsten , Kaskade , Markus Schulz and Steve Angello were signed as headliners . In the second edition the following year, the event was sold out on both days with 25,000 visitors each. The headliners this year were Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk , The Chemical Brothers , John Digweed , Above & Beyond , Moby and Fedde Le Grand .
In 2011 the festival was held for the first time over 3 days from Friday to Sunday. Tiësto , David Guetta and Armin van Buuren were signed on as headliners on the three days . In addition, over 100 other acts such as Above & Beyond, Sander van Doorn , Ferry Corsten, Afrojack , Benny Benassi , John Digweed, Moby, Gareth Emery , Markus Schulz, Skrillex , Richie Hawtin and ATB were booked. The rapper Snoop Dogg as DJ Snoopadelic had a rather unusual appearance for an electronic music festival . A total of 85,000 visitors were counted on the three days.
