The Rainer Berg ( 1169 m ), also Rainerberg , is a summit in the Schlierseer Mountains , which belong to the Bavarian Prealps .
topography
The Rainer Berg is a fully wooded summit of the ridge that drops from the Gindelalmschneid over the Auer Berg , the Rainer Berg to the Huberspitz (1052 m) to Schliersee . The entire ridge is almost completely wooded, only at the Gindel-Alm does the open area appear.
Alpinism
The highest point of the Rainer Berg is rarely visited as a forest hump, but one of the often used paths from Schliersee to Baumgartenschneid stretches over the ridge and is also easily accessible by mountain bike.
