San Holo
Sander van Dijck (born November 26, 1990 in Zoetermeer ), known by his stage name San Holo , is a Dutch DJ , composer and music producer . He celebrated his first success with a remix by Dr. Dres The Next Episode , which had around 200 million hits on YouTube in August 2019 .
biography
Van Dijck graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatorium with a degree in music production in 2012.
Starting in 2013, he released his music under the pseudonym San Holo and first attracted attention when he was signed to Heroic Recordings. His first EP, Cosmos , was released on September 18, 2014 and hit the top 100 electronics charts on iTunes.
Since September 2014 he has been in a legal dispute with Walt Disney Pictures . He is accused of resembling his stage name San Holo too much to that of "Han Solo" from the " Star Wars " series.
He released various singles and remixes on Spinnin 'Records , Monstercat , OWSLA and on his own label Bitbird.
On September 20, 2018, his first album was released with the title album1 .
