Since Tweekaz is a Norwegian Hardstyle - duo consisting of Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli that in since 2012. Belgium is located. Since 2017 they have also been producing Happy Hardcore under the alias Tweekacore .
Career
Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli met in Oslo , the capital of Norway . They experimented a lot with different styles of music until they completely focused on hardstyle music. In 2007 they finally founded the music project Da Tweekaz and sent their first demos to various record labels. The songs Angeli Domini and Crowsong found their way onto the Internet. In 2008 they signed a contract with the Italian record label "DJ's United Records", which resulted in the release of the songs The Past and Da Bomba . At the same time, the record label "Spider Records" signed the duo for the release of the leaked track Angeli Domini .
In 2009 they made their first appearance in front of a festival audience at the Norwegian hardstyle festival Hardstyle DNA. They were booked again for 2010 and at the same time produced the official hymn DNA . This track also marked their first release on the Belgian record label " Dirty Workz ", with which they came into contact through a Belgian forum. Various bookings followed in the Netherlands and Belgium, especially from the organizer Q-Dance , which is why they moved to the Netherlands for a short time in 2012. In 2012 they placed in the DJ-Mag -Top-100 for the first time , where they entered 99th place. In the following year it moved up to 86th place.
On July 11, 2013, in collaboration with the duo Wasted Penguinz, they released the song Island Refuge , which is the official anthem of The Qontinent Festival, on which they could also be seen as the headline. In 2014 they released a song every month as part of the # Tweekay14 project, from which a limited compilation was put together at the end of the year . They also produced the anthem for the 2014 Freaqshow, which was titled Celebration of Sin . They landed at 66th place in the DJ Mag Top 100 at the end of the year, but slipped to 79th place in 2015.
In 2016, as in 2014, they published a song every month with the hashtag # Tweekay16 . They also worked with Code Black and Darren Styles , among others , and published the follow-up to the 2015 song Vodka . This was called Tequila . At the end of 2016, it was number 71 on the DJ Mag Charts and moved up to number 62 in 2017. Also in 2017 were collaborations with Sub Zero Project and again with Code Black. Furthermore, together with Coone , they produced the song DWX , a flashback for the 10th anniversary of Dirty Workz and a remix on the theme of the US fantasy television series Game of Thrones . In addition, they created their new alias Tweekacore, under which they published productions from the field of happy hardcore .
At the beginning of 2018, their new Happy Hard label was presented together with Darren Styles under the name Electric Fox. Together they played a B2B set with styles under their pseudonym Tweekacore at this year's edition of Defqon.1 festival and released a single single. In addition to a cover version of the Evanescence song Bring Me to Life and a collaboration with Sephyx, the song Jägermeister also appeared , which became a success. They finished the year at 76th place in the DJ Mag Top 100.
After a collaboration with Refuzion, a cover version of the song Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) by Scatman John from 1995 was released as a free download on April 19, 2019 . After more than 9 published songs, they were placed 68th in the DJ-Mag-Top-100 in 2019.

Music genre
The musical style of Da Tweekaz is mainly classified in the area of Euphoric Hardstyle. Another striking feature of her appearance is the use of humor, which plays a major role in her videos and songs. Vodka , tequila and Jägermeister in particular reflect this. All three songs are based on the country the drink stands for, so Russian, Mexican and southern German musical aspects were parodied. This was also visually processed humorously in the videos. They also released the song Duck Tool in 2010 , the topline of which consisted of the squeak of a rubber duck . This is the sound they used to parody the Defqon.1 anthems published in 2015 and 2016.
