"(I can't wake up) Wake me up inside
(Save me) Call my name and save me from the dark

(Save me) Save me from the nothing I've become "

Music video

The music video for Bring Me to Life was shot by the German director Philipp Stölzl and has more than 730 million views on YouTube (as of April 2020).

It shows the singer Amy Lee , who sleeps at night in her apartment in an urban skyscraper and restlessly dreams of falling out of the window of her apartment and flying towards the ground. When the chorus starts, the other band members and Paul McCoy are shown playing the song with their instruments in another apartment in the house. Amy Lee now opens her eyes, leaves her apartment through the window in her nightgown and climbs the facade of the house to the apartment where the musicians play. There she stands on the windowsill and sings the lyrics while the band plays inside. When Paul McCoy notices Amy Lee and opens the window, she loses her balance and can only hold on to the window ledge with her hands. He now grabs her hand and tries to pull it up again, which ultimately fails and it plunges into the depths. At the end of the video, Amy Lee can be seen sleeping in her bed again.
