Ben Moody (2007)

Ben Moody (born January 22, 1981 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is an American pianist , songwriter , producer and guitarist for the band We Are the Fallen .

Moody was the lead guitarist with Evanescence from 1998 to October 2003 . After leaving, he worked with artists such as David Hodges , Avril Lavigne ( Nobody's Home ), Kelly Clarkson ( Addicted , Because of You ), Celine Dion ( This Time ) and Anastacia ( Everything Burns ). Moody was featured with songs on the soundtracks of The Punisher and Resident Evil: Apocalypse . Most recently he hit the charts with Anastacia ( Everything Burns , from the movie Fantastic Four ).

His first own studio album Can't Regret What You Don't Remember was released in the USA on March 3rd, 2009.

Together with former Evanescence members John LeCompt and Rocky Gray and singer Carly Smithson (former participant of American Idol ), Moody founded a new project called We Are the Fallen and released a first single in 2009. The music style is very similar to the style of Evanescence - the name of the band is therefore probably not coincidentally based on the name of the first Evanescence successful album Fallen .
