Sui Gongdi
Emperor Gong of Sui or Sui Gongdi (恭帝 侑), birth name Yang You (楊 侑), was the last emperor of the Chinese Sui dynasty . He ruled from 617 to 618.
After his grandfather, Emperor Yang, was strangled, Yang You was crowned Emperor Gong in Chang'an . In reality, however, he was just a puppet of the regent Li Yuan . A year after the coronation, Li Yuan turned against the emperor, took Luoyang , and established the Tang Dynasty . He let Yang You live, but the rule of the Sui Dynasty was over.
