The Sulawesi Klewang , also Heavy Klewang , is a sword from the Sulawesi island and the Moluccas archipelago.

description

The Sulawesi Klewang has a straight, single-edged, heavy blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location and is cut off at an angle. The blade is usually smooth, without a hollow grind or central ridge. The handle has no guard and is mostly carved from horn or wood. There are three runners on the pommel, of which the middle one usually represents a human face. The Sulawesi Klewang is a rare version of the Klewang . The Sulawesi Klewang is used by ethnic groups from Sulawesi and the Moluccas.
