Suldtal
The Suldtal in Berne step Frutigland is the wooded incision between the Wätterlatte and the western slopes of the morning Unterberghorn on Lake Thun . It extends from Obersuld to Mülenen in Kandertal and is traversed by the Suldbach from southeast to west . The lower, curved part of the valley bears the name Suldgraben , the second half of which, facing south-west, up to the valley exit, is known as the Lower Suldtal .
The forest in the upper Suldtale is structured by numerous clearings, some of which have individual farms. To the southeast, between the source streams of Suldbachs, is the semi-forest , because the west bordering the Sagiwald , on the right side of the valley of Leimer Ewald . In between, where the individual streams flow together, lies the small settlement Im Suld with a sawmill and an inn.
On the slopes of the central Suldtal are the Cholebärgli on the left and the Suldweid a little below, the Bireberg on the right ; in the upper Suldgraben the Butzen on the left and the Stächgraben on the right .
