Sulili

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sulili is the 27th king of the Assyrian king list , the first king of the third dynasty. Apart from his name, nothing is known about him. Since the 30th king of the list of kings, Puzur-Aššur I, is known from inscriptions by his grandson Ilu-šuma , there is a certain probability that Sulili is also historical. However, it is unclear whether he really ruled as king. His successors only call themselves patesi (governors) of Aššur .
