Albert Kirk Grayson
Albert Kirk Grayson (* 1935 ) is a Canadian assyriologist . The main focus of his work is Assyria and Babylonia .
Grayson graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Arts degree in 1958. In 1962 he received his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University . From 1962 to 1963 he was Research Assistant at the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary Oriental Institute in Chicago and then until 1964 Assistant Professor at Temple University in Philadelphia . He then returned to the University of Toronto, where he became a full professor in 1972 . In 2000 he retired. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada .
