Sulliman Johan Mazadou (born April 11, 1985 in Marignane , France ) is a Nigerien - French football player .

Club career

The 180-centimeter defense and midfielder Mazadou wore from 2003 the jersey of Sechstligisten GS Consolat from Marseille . In 2005 he moved to formerly once first-class sixth division rivals AS Aix , from where he made the jump to the fourth-highest division to the US Marignane in 2007 . At Marignane he was usually set as part of the first eleven and remained loyal to the club for the long term, where he found himself with the team mostly in the middle of the table. In the summer of 2013 he returned to his ex-club Consolat Marseille, which is now also in the fourth division. With Consolat he achieved promotion to the third highest division in 2014, although he was rarely used. His contract was not renewed that year, after which he remained without a club for the time being.

National team

Although he was only used as a club player in the amateur field until then, Mazadou was appointed to the Nigerien national team at the age of 26 and made his debut for them on October 8, 2011 in a 3-0 defeat against Egypt. A few months later he was part of Niger's squad for the 2012 African Cup of Nations. In the first tournament game against Gabon (0-2) he was in the starting line-up, but had to be replaced after 57 minutes due to injury. In the further course of the tournament he was no longer used. On May 26, 2012, he played his fourth and, for the time being, last international match in a 3-0 defeat against Algeria.
