The Sulzberger Basin is a lake basin in the Ross Sea off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land .

It has been named since 1988 based on the name of the neighboring Sulzberger Bay . Its namesake is the US newspaper editor Arthur Hays Sulzberger (1891–1968), who financially supported the first two expeditions of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
