The Mount Sumagaya is in the northern Philippine island of Mindanao in the field of the province of Misamis Oriental .
Cebu Pacific Flight 387
On February 2, 1998, the Cebu-Pacific flight 387 crashed on the way from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila to Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro in the south of the Philippines on the slopes of Mount Sumagaya. All 104 people on board the plane were killed. At the time, the accident was the country's worst airplane accident.
