The Summit Pass ( English for Summit Pass ) is a 345 m high mountain pass in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Trinity Peninsula, it lies between Passes Peak and Summit Ridge and 3.5 km south of the head end of Hope Bay and 5.5 km northeast of Duse Bay .
Participants in the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) led by Otto Nordenskjöld were the first to explore this area. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped and named this mountain pass in 1945. It is the highest point on the way from Hope Bay to Duse Bay.
