The Duse Bay ( Swedish Duse bukt ) is a bay in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the south side of the Trinity Peninsula , it lies between the View Point and the western flank of the Tabarin Peninsula .
It was discovered by Johan Gunnar Andersson , participant in the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903), whose leader Otto Nordenskjöld named it after the cartographer of the research trip, Samuel August Duse (1873–1933). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the Swedish name to English in 1949.
