The Tabarin Peninsula is about 25 km long and 8-20 km wide peninsula that as the eastern foothills of the Trinity Peninsula between the Antarctic Sound and Duse Bay is located. It is separated from the rest of the Trinity Peninsula by a depression that extends from Hope Bay to Duse Bay and is filled by the Depot and Mondor Glaciers .

It was discovered and mapped during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out survey work in the area in 1946 and named the peninsula after Operation Tabarin , under which the survey operated between 1943 and 1945.
