Sunder Deodhar

Sunder Deodhar (* around 1925 , married Sunder Patwardhan ) is an Indian badminton player . She is the daughter of the Indian cricket legend Dinkar Balwant Deodhar . Tara Deodhar and Suman Deodhar are her older sisters.

Career

Sunder Deodhar won an Indian championship title for the first time in 1942. She won in both women's doubles and mixed. With her sister Suman Deodhar she won the women's double title in 1946. 1947, 1951 and 1954 both were successful again. In 1946 and 1954 Sunder Deodhar also won the women's singles.
