Tara Deodhar

Tara Deodhar (* 1924 ) is a former Indian badminton and tennis player. She is the daughter of the Indian cricket legend Dinkar Balwant Deodhar . Suman Deodhar and Sunder Deodhar are her sisters.

Career

Tara Deodhar won two of three possible national titles in badminton in 1942. In the following year she was twice successful at the championships. In 1944 she won her third women's singles title in a row. In tennis, too, she was one of the top players in India.
