The Suomen Salibandyliitto (SSBL) (Swedish: Finlands Innebandyförbund ) is the national association of Finland in the sport of floorball (also known as floorball). With 46,991 members, it is one of the largest floorball associations in the world.

The SSBL was founded in 1985. In 1986 Finland was one of the founders of the International Floorball Federation , the world floorball association, alongside Sweden and Switzerland .

National teams

Game operation

National floorball championships have been held in Finland since 1986 (for men) and 1988 (for women). The top division are the Salibandyliiga or, for women, the Naisten Salibandyliiga .

Events carried out

Finland has already hosted several floorball events, including the Men's World Championships in 2002 and 2010 in Helsinki or Helsinki and Vantaa, as well as the Men's European Championships in 1994 .
