history

Super TV was a joint project of the southern German magazine publishers Burda and Gong, which had designed the program guide , which was launched in 1990, specifically for East Germany. In 1996 Burda took over all shares in Super TV from Gong Verlag . In return, Gong received Burda’s long-standing TV guide, Bild + Funk . 2005 Burda separated favor of his then new acquisitions TV movie and TV Today from the Super TV and sold it back to the now belonging to Funke Mediengruppe Gong Verlag. There, the Super TV was relaunched and incorporated into its program magazine "Gong" / "Bild + Funk".
