Superflux is a specially manufactured iron powder ( Fe ) alloy with the highest purity. This keeps core losses very low. This unique property is used to enable the new generations of DC / DC switching regulators to be clocked at higher frequencies .
The saturation behavior is also very good and can be used with very high currents.
The permeability is µi = 52 ~ 57.
