Supporterscafe

As a Supporter Cafe is known in Belgium a restaurant in Belgium ( "Cafe" called), which in a particular way with a particular cyclist is connected.

The fans and supporters ( Supporters ) of a cyclist meet in this restaurant. If the driver is still quite young and unknown, there is a money box for him, in which the supporters put money, which the young talent then uses to pay entry fees, travel or material costs. In return, the racing driver regularly visits the restaurant and brings items from his successes to decorate the restaurant, such as trophies or special victory jerseys.

This form of culture in Belgium is not limited to Belgian riders, many international cycling stars have a supporter cafe somewhere in Belgium.
