The Surat Thani City Football Club ( Thai : สโมสร ฟุตบอล สุราษฎร์ธานี ซิตี้ ) is a Thai football club from Surat Thani , which plays in the Thai League 4 - Southern Region , the fourth highest Thai division. The club is also known under the name The Bonytongue Fish (ตะพัด พิฆาต) .
Club history
The club was founded in 2010 as Kabinburi FC. A year later the club was renamed Kabin City FC. In 2016 the club was renamed Sinthana Kabinburi FC. The last renaming took place in 2017 when the club was renamed Surat Thani City FC. From 2010 to 2012, the club played in the third division, the Regional League Division 2 , where he played in the Southern Region. From 2013 to 2015, the club did not take part in the third division. In 2016 they started again as Sinthana Kabinburi in the Regional League Division 2, where he played in the Bangkok / East region. After renaming in 2017 to Surat Thani City FC and moving the club to the south of the country, the club plays in the newly created fourth division, the Thai League 4 . Here you compete in the Southern region.
