Suribati Ike ( Japanese す り ば ち 池 ' Mortar lake' ) is a lake on the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It lies in a depression in the center of the Skarvsnes .
Japanese cartographers mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs from the years 1962 to 1973. They named it in 1972.
