Sursum Corda

Sursum corda ("Up the Hearts") was the title of a Catholic diocesanhymn ofthe diocese of Paderborn introduced in 1874, which was replaced in 1975 by the hymn of Praise to God .

Hymnal Sursum Corda

The Paderborn diocesan hymn book was recommended by Bishop Konrad Martin on June 2, 1874 for use in the parishes and was supposed to replace the hymn books that had been in use up to that point. 1948 there was a new edition, which until the introduction of the common of prayer and hymnal hymnbook was used 1974th Theodor Pröpper created the corresponding organ book .
