Susanne Halbeisen

Susanne Halbeisen (* 1986 in Altstätten ) is an Austrian writer . She writes novels in the genres of fantasy and youth literature .

Life

Born in Switzerland, she moved to Austria after a short time, where she completed her high school diploma with an artistic focus. Through her subsequent studies in German literature and American studies , she received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the Humboldt University of Berlin and a Master of Arts (MA) in German literature from the Free University of Berlin . In parallel to her studies, she spent a total of nine months in New Delhi , India , where she taught German as a foreign language at the University of Delhi as a tutor for the DAAD .

After completing her studies, she moved back to Austria and started working as a writer. With her series of novels "Love Beyond Worlds" she made her successful debut at Forever (Ullstein publishing house) in 2016.

She currently lives and works in Vienna , Austria .
