Susanne Jerusalem (* 1950 ) is a former Austrian politician ( Greens ). From 1991 to 2010 she was a member of the State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Susanne Jerusalem is co-founder of the first free school in Vienna. From 1987 to 1991 she was a district councilor in the Viennese district of Wieden and in 1991 moved to the Vienna Landtag as a member of parliament and became a member of the Vienna City Council. Her political priorities in the municipal council were, according to her own statements, in the social area, in education and in politics for children. Jerusalem was elected the top candidate of the Greens Mariahilf for the 2010 district council election, but this election led to the split of the district Greens . As a result, a second Green List, the “Real Green” list, entered the district council. As a result, Jerusalem was elected deputy district mayor in Mariahilf on December 16, 2011, and at the same time resigned from the state parliament and municipal council. She last stood as the top candidate of the Mariahilfer Grünen in the 2015 district council elections . In October 2016, she announced her retirement from politics.
