Susanne Juhnke
Susanne Juhnke , also Susanne Hsiao (* 26 December 1944 as Susanne Tien Lo Hsiao in Berlin ) is a former German actress . She was the second wife of Harald Juhnke .
Life
The daughter of the political scientist and restaurateur Yunlay Hsiao from China and an East Prussian woman grew up in Berlin-Charlottenburg .
In 1964 she appeared as Lotus Blossom in the Russ Meyer film Fanny Hill . In 1965 she made Genghis Khan with Omar Sharif . She appeared on Berlin stages and starred in three Edgar Wallace films .
On April 8, 1971, she married Harald Juhnke and then gave up her acting career. In 1972 their son Oliver Marlon was born.
After her husband suffered irreversible brain damage from excessive alcohol consumption in the summer of 2000, her life had become "one tragedy". She suffered from depression and had her hugely popular husband admitted to a nursing home for people with dementia in December 2001 .
In 2004 she was appointed DRK ambassador.
