Susanne Müller (born September 9, 1964 in Zurich ) is a Swiss jazz musician ( alto , tenor and soprano saxophone and guitar ).

Act

After completing her training at the Lucerne Jazz School, Susanne Müller worked on theater and film music productions. Since 2002 she has been a member of the women's saxophone quartet Lily Horn Is Born (with Lisette Wyss, Fabienne Hoerni and Annette Kitagawa ), with whom she toured internationally until 2007; In 2017 the quartet reunited. For more than 20 years she played with the pianist Eliane Cueni in the duo Zut , with whom she released the album Tinktur on the Brambus label in 2001 . In her band Müller4 she worked with Niklaus Gehring, Felix Utzinger and Sandra Merk. For ten years she was a member of the band Wilhelm Toll . Together with Urs Hirscher, she produces music in the uhproductions project .

Müller can still be heard on albums by Harry Schärer ( Space Dream ), UnknownmiX and Liliput . As a guitarist she played in the punk / rock band ThreeAngle .
