Susanne Riha

Susanne Riha (born June 18, 1954 in Vienna ) is an Austrian non-fiction and children's book author and illustrator.

Life

Susanne Riha graduated from the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna and initially worked as a graphic artist in the advertising industry. From 1980 she worked with children's book publishers, initially illustrating foreign texts and from 1983 also own texts, mostly with black and white illustrations. Almost all of her books are about native animals and landscapes.
