Susie Allanson

Susie Allanson (born March 17, 1952 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American country singer.

Allanson sang in performances of Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar early in her career ; in the latter, it can be heard both on the record version and in the film version. After her marriage to Roy Ruff , she was given the opportunity to write her first solo album in 1975 and had success with hit singles over and over again until the early 1980s.

In 1981 she became a mother and withdrew from the business (with the exception of two singles in 1987).
