The transmitter Suton Radio was founded on November 9th 2001 in Savino Selo , Vojvodina / Serbia. In 2007, an offshoot followed in Germany based in Steinbach (Taunus) / Hessen. On February 18, 2008, Suton Company received approval from the assembly of the Hessian State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media to organize and broadcast a nationwide full radio program. The 24-hour program is funded by income from advertising and paid telephone services.

Suton Radio broadcasts music from the categories Narodna (comparable to folk music) and Zabavna (pop in Serbian) 24 hours a day . The playlist consists of titles from the 1960s to the present day.

Suton Radio can be received via the Internet as a live stream and via mobile phone . The station is also broadcast via the Eutelsat satellite .
