The Suuri-Onkamo [ ˈsuːri ˈɔŋkɑmɔ ] ("Great Onkamo") is a lake in eastern Finland . It lies on the border of the municipalities of Rääkkylä and Tohmajärvi in the North Karelia region .

The Suuri-Onkamo has an area of ​​32.11 square kilometers and is located at an altitude of 77 meters above sea level. To the east of the lake is the village of Onkamo. In the north, the Suuri-Onkamo is connected to the lake Pieni-Onkamo ("Little Onkamo") by a narrow sound . In the east, an isthmus separates it from Lake Särkijärvi .
