The Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder is a motorcycle in the chopper category and was the first attempt by a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer to enter the chopper segment in 1986 . When it was released, the Suzuki VS 1400 was viewed as a replica of the US American choppers from Harley-Davidson , with the difference that, according to trade magazines, it is supposed to be better than the original. The Intruder is considered a reliable and robust chopper.

The VS1400 Intruder was offered in Germany from 1986 to 2003 and was withdrawn from the range due to non-compliance with the emissions standard.
