coat of arms
The draft emblem of Fuhrberg comes from the in Gadenstedt born and later in Hannover living heraldic and graphic artist Alfred Brecht , who has the coat of arms of Aligse , Bantorf , Barrigsen has designed and many other villages in the district of Hannover. The coat of arms was issued on July 25, 1965 by the district president in Lüneburg.
Blazon : "In Blue before golden beehive two crossed silver beekeepers hatchets , about a rechtshin sweeping, golden armored , silver kites ." | |
Justification of the coat of arms: It has been proven that beekeeping has always played a major role as a special branch of agriculture in the small community of Oldhorst. That is why the coat of arms shows a beehive and beekeeper axes, the old guild symbols of beekeepers. The fork consecration depicted in the coat of arms - also known as the red kite - is intended to remind forever that this still largest bird of prey in our closer homeland, which is being pushed back and threatened to become extinct by the advancing cultivation of the forest and moorland, is still in the area today Oldhorst horstet community. |
