The Svöðufoss is a waterfall on the peninsula Snæfellsnes in west of Iceland .

At the end of the Fossdalur, the Laxá á Breið plunges 40 meters into the depth and then flows north east of the place Rif into the Breiðafjörður . This area can be reached via Útenesvegur (road 574). Svöðufoss is a good 1.5 km from the road. But it is only 650 m west of Kerlingarfoss .
