Sven Metzger (born January 7, 1992 in Stuttgart ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Metzger began his career in 2003 at TSV Grafenau . A year later he moved to VfL Sindelfingen . His father worked there as a trainer. In 2006 he went to Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg and played in the club's youth team. In 2008 the diagonal attacker switched to the Volley YoungStars Friedrichshafen, the youth team of VfB Friedrichshafen . In 2012 Metzger returned to Rottenburg. There he played in the Bundesliga until 2017. Then Metzger played again for VfL Sindelfingen, with whom he was promoted to the Regionalliga Süd in 2018.
