Sven Tholen

Sven Tholen (born November 19, 1972 ) is a former German soccer player .

Tholen, who could play both in midfield and attack , made his debut in 1993 for FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga .

In the 1996/97 season of the 1. Bundesliga Tholen came to four missions for Hamburg. All four games were lost and St. Pauli was relegated from bottom of the table at the end of the season.

After his career, Tholen studied psychology and now lives with his wife and two daughters as a psychotherapist in Switzerland.
