Sven Wagner (politician)

Sven Wagner (born March 22, 1974 in Staßfurt ) is a German local politician ( SPD ). He is the acting Lord Mayor of Staßfurt.

Life

After graduating from high school at Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Haldensleben , he began training as a social security clerk at AOK Magdeburg in 1992. Since 2005 he has worked as a specialist consultant in sales and marketing at AOK Saxony-Anhalt . In April 2015 he was elected mayor in a runoff election and took office on July 7, 2015.
