Svenska Scoutförbundet (SSF; Swedish for Swedish Scout Association ) was the largest scout association in Sweden . The association, which was created in 1960 through the merger of the interdenominational scout associations for boys and girls, according to its own information, had around 55,000 members in 600 local groups. Via the national umbrella organization Svenska Scoutrådet , Svenska Scoutförbundet is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and the World Organization of the Scout Movement ; In autumn 2010 the five member organizations of Svenska Scoutrådets decided to merge on January 1, 2012 to form the common association Scouterna .

Svenska Scoutförbundet operated an internationally important scout camp on the island of Vässarö north of Stockholm .
