Sveti Đorđe (German: Saint George ) is a (natural) island in the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro . It is one of the two islands on the coast off Perast , the other is the artificially raised island of Gospa od Škrpjela . On this island there is a Benedictine monastery from the 12th century and a cemetery for the nobility from Perast and the other communities on the bay.

There is speculation that the island served as a model for Arnold Böcklin's painting Die Toteninsel .
