The Swan Rock is a 2 m high cliff rock off the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 2.5 km southwest of Cape Willems in the Bay of Flanders .
The rock is still unnamed on an Argentine nautical map from 1950. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the British inventor and photography pioneer Joseph Wilson Swan (1828-1914).
