The Swash Reef (from English swash , splash, 'spill ) is a reef off the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately north of the Pourquoi-Pas Island .
Scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs from 1956 to 1959. They named the reef because it is washed over by the sea.
