The Swift Glacier (from English swift , 'fast, rapid' ) is a 3 km long and steep glacier on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It flows into the head end of Swift Bay immediately west of Jefford Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave it its descriptive name in 1964; the glacier is one of the most active on the island.
