Swiss Dance Contest
The Swiss Dance Contest is a talent show for dance groups that has been produced by JEP Switzerland for SwissYouthTV since 2014.
concept
Dance groups compete against each other in the show. A panel of dancers will select six dance groups from the applicants for the live show. The jury and the audience each determine the winner of the dance competition at 50%.
New to the 2nd show are the three additional categories “Best Outfit”, “Best Music” and “Best Audience”. The jury selects a group in each category, which they jointly determine. The decibel of applause is measured for the title “Best Audience”.
First broadcast (2014)
The show
The show was recorded on October 18, 2014 in the Theater Casino Zug and broadcast on November 1 by SportSzene Fernsehen SSF . It was moderated by Daniel Küng and Ana Duarte. The Ginseng Dance Crew opened the show and singer Ricardo Sanz performed as a live act. Due to a last-minute cancellation, only seven of the eight planned groups appeared. The best three groups received a prize.

Second broadcast (2015)
The show
The second broadcast of the Swiss Dance Contest took place on September 5, 2015. Six dance groups danced on the stage of the Theater Casino in Zug. The almost two-hour program was broadcast live on SwissYouthTV. The Swiss Dance Contest was again moderated by Daniel Küng. Lars Hummel completed the duo, who in addition to the broadcast line also took on the backstage moderation. Dave Bright and the Lightbulbs opened the show, Lucca Gloor appeared as a live act in half of the show. The winning group was chosen by last year's group Flow2Flow Crew.
