The Swithinbank Range is a small mountain range in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains of the Transantarctic Mountains , it extends in an easterly direction between the Donnally and Ahern glaciers to the Starshot glacier .
Participants in a campaign lasting from 1959 to 1960 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after the British glaciologist Charles Winthrop Molesworth Swithinbank (1926-2014), who was active on the Little America V station at this time .
