Symmetric cryptology

The symmetric cryptography is a branch of cryptology and is concerned with the design and analysis of symmetric cryptographic method . In addition to symmetrical encryption methods , i.e. block ciphers and their operating modes as well as stream ciphers , this also includes cryptological hash functions and message authentication codes .
