Synagogue (Kronberg im Taunus)
The synagogue in Kronberg im Taunus , a community in the Hochtaunus district in Hesse , was probably built in the second half of the 17th century. The synagogue was on Mauerstraße with the entrance from Kleine Mauerstraße (until 1935 Synagogenstraße ).
history
The prayer room had about 30 seats. Regular services were held until 1900 , and only on special occasions until 1910.
The synagogue building, a two-story half - timbered building , was sold by the Jewish community and demolished by the new owner in 1926/27 because it was dilapidated .
A bronze plaque on Mauerstraße 6a reminds of the synagogue.
